The world famous Keukenhof Gardens with its seven million flower bulb park at Lisse, Holland, is open for eight weeks between March and May. The one variable is the weather. If Spring is early and warm, the blooms will arrive early and not last for the complete show schedule.
There are walks where you can ‘tip toe through the tulips’ and there are endless walkways for viewing the annual exhibition and conservatories. Each year there is a theme for the indoor and outdoor pavilion. In 2013 it was a British show with Mr Bean, Will and Kate and the Beatles.
